Simulacra Studio have been offering training and masterclasses for many years, in small groups and one-to-one. Our studio workshops have encompassed lavish themes such as Fairy Tale, Circus and Contemporary Dance. We focus on career, portfolio and artist development, equipping the attendee with technical and creative skills, even offering assisting on a professional shoot.
We give tuition in a wide range of practical areas such as Adobe Suite, Capture One, Studio Assisting, Studio Lighting, Product Photography and Fashion Experience. Students gain a condensed foundation and key skills in each area, applicable to working in imaging today.
Photography Workshops London
As well as being a fully equipped professional photography and film studio, we also offer photography workshops in London SE26, where you can learn creative photography in a working and educational environment.
We offer training and workshops for specific career development or hobbyists including professional lighting, Capture One, Photoshop and Adobe Suite, shooting and editing video, fashion and product photography. Learn studio basics or progress to deeper understanding of equipment for professional use.
Our studios are a fabulous environment for workshops and classes, either 121 or small groups.
Especially suited to photography graduates and those living in London looking to expand their portfolio and skillset, have a ‘studio experience’ day learning all the ins and outs of assisting.
You can also hire our London studios for your own workshops and classes, to hold rehearsals or auditions and castings, host presentations or to live stream and record content for online classes.
Our studios are an incredibly versatile venue for all kinds of skill sharing events.
As a photo and film studios, Studio One,‘The Warehouse’ is blacked out and includes basic equipment.
We also have scenic flats, poly boards, grips and a large selection of special effects equipment, ideal for photoshoots, music videos and all kinds of productions.

Studio Two has great daylight and is ideal for smaller crews, product and portrait shoots.
For workshops, we use the entire space both Studio One, Studio Two and use the lounge.
The lounge has a kitchenette with plush velvet sofa, wooden swing and movable meeting table. This multi-purpose area has become a popular shooting area in its own right, but clients are welcome to use it as a breakout space for lunch, styling area, or footage review area.
Simulacra Studio supports artists and new businesses with introductory rates, we are always open to discussion if your budget isn’t fully fledged, to see exactly how we can help your venture or product.
Usual opening hours are 10am-6pm, we also offer half days, 12 hour days which includes both studios for the price of Studio One with a welcome crew breakfast with freshly baked bread, tea, coffee and soft drinks.
